## Summary

Preserving and safeguarding Cultural Heritage (CH) is a collective responsibility for humanity. This necessitates targeted measures for conserving historical assets of cultural significance. Recent advancements in technology have played a crucial role in mapping, recording, and promoting Cultural Heritage. Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS), Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Photogrammetry, and Mixed Reality (MR) applications are just a few examples of these technologies. This article focuses on the comprehensive approach from 3D surveying to the representation and promotion of Religious Cultural Heritage. By integrating TLS and UAV photogrammetry techniques, a detailed digital record of Panagia Ekatontapyliani, the Church of Agios Nikolaos, and the Baptistery has been obtained. This record serves as the foundation for historical documentation and recreation using Historical Building Information Modeling (HBIM). It also enables the development of diverse Mixed Reality applications to enhance visibility and accessibility. Furthermore, additive 3D manufacturing (3D printing) has revolutionized the exhibition and promotion of Cultural and Religious Heritage by providing tactile access to information. People with vision impairments can now touch printed replicas of monuments or relics in various Levels of Detail (LODs). The process of creating a 3D-printed model of the Holy Church of Panagia Ekatontapyliani is depicted in Figure 14. The holistic methodology presented in this paper emphasizes the importance of digitizing Cultural Heritage for experts like archaeologists, architects, conservators, museologists, as well as the general public for educational and touristic purposes. The integration of new technologies offers capabilities such as producing three-dimensional models, ortho-images, facades, floor plans, and section plans. The collaboration between 3D survey methods, cultural studies, and computer science has transformed the documentation and protection of Cultural Heritage. Virtual Heritage combines cultural data with virtual technologies to enhance documentation and promotion in a modern direction. Digital Twins are identified as a future trend for preserving Cultural/Religious Heritage. In conclusion, leveraging TLS and UAV surveying methods along with 3D printing technologies plays a vital role in safeguarding Cultural Heritage while enhancing its visibility through immersive learning experiences. The synergy between technology and cultural preservation efforts paves the way for innovative approaches to documenting and promoting our shared heritage for future generations.
