Résumé : The aim of this section is to introduce the basic concepts of fuzzy set theory. To distinguish between fuzzy sets and classical (nonfuzzy) sets, we refer to the latter as crisp sets. For an in-depth treatment we refer the reader to, e.g., [ 139 , 242 ].
